We loved everything about this fantastic, beautiful hotel. Its rural, green setting just 20 minutes outside of Bologna's city centre and its stunning swimming pool provided the perfect downtime from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant was excellent (so much so that we ate there every lunch and dinner) and was always busy with locals which is a good sign! All the staff were incredibly friendly too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Relais Villa Valfiore again and would absolutely recommend it to others!

Superior Garden View room was lovely. Traditional style spacious suite. Was only missing one thing, a coffee or tea maker. Having one or both in room would have elevated our stay. Honestly these items are pretty standard in hotels, especially in suites.

Absolutely fantastic place not far from Bologna! Big and green territory around, plenty of place to walk with the children. Thr rooms are very neat and clean, service is top! And the restaurant is just fabulous! Plenty of seafood in menu, which is not typical for this region of Italy.

Great Breakfast. Lovely gardens. Nice underground Parking. No kettle/tea/coffee making facilities in room, but, reception staff gave us a kettle/milk etc from the kitchen - no problem. The pool looked lovely but not open in winter (November).
